It's hard to see the difference between Out of Love and the British original, which was written by Mike Bartlett, and the original is almost identical. Out of Love makes a much more serious error by failing to understand what it is they are ripping off, why they are ripping it off, or how to go about it. Directors have no notion what they want their actors to do in termsof rhythm, momentum, shooting angles, character play, or emotional moments.
Tigmanshu Dhulia, an accomplished director and actor, helmed Out of Love. Some episodes of the series have also been directed by Eijaz Khan and Oni Sen. Out Of Love Story

It's hard to see the difference between Out of Love and the British original, which was written by Mike Bartlett, and the original is almost identical. Out of Love makes a much more serious error by failing to understand what it is they are ripping off, why they are ripping it off, or how to go about it.
They clearly don't know what they want from their performers in terms of pace, momentum, camera angles, character acting, or emotional moments. The people in Out of Love on Hotstar don't speak Tamil or Badaga, the two official languages of the town of Coonoor, which add to the show's otherworldly vibe. Even in modern-day India, a country that is far more conservative than the English, infidelity and the sex lifeof young people are taboo subjects.
The program also demonstrates a lack of enthusiasm for adapting the Doctor Foster story to an Indian setting. It's odd that Out of Love would depict an Indian with blonde hair on the scarf, given that the majority of Indians have dark locks.
Director and cameraman of Doctor Foster worked together to ratchet up the drama when Dr. Foster discovers his blonde hair. Unlike its BBC counterpart, Out of Love moves at a glacial storyline pace and without any suspense. The directing is so bad that the darkly comical parts of the movie come out as too dramatic.
The filmmakers behind Out of Love also don't know how to effectively highlight Meera's paranoia. There are sudden cuts between scenes with no context provided, as if the filmmakers neglected to capture the bits in between. Each and every one of these flaws eats away at the suspenseful atmosphere of a thriller.
